On March 9, 2010, a group of Board Members, Directors and extended day staff gathered for a pot-luck supper. The meeting was kicked off by Dr. William Lupini, Brookline’s Superintendent of Schools. He updated the group on the Town’s financial situation and fielded questions on space issue from many parents. He assured the group that collaboration with the schools would continue and he would do everything he could to support our programs’ needs.
The meeting continued with break-out sessions on the following topics:
* Programming for 5th grade and beyond
* Raising the bar on fundraising: moving from bake sales to grants
* Space challenges and creative resolutions
